Why You Should Keep Cereal Bags

Instead of throwing out the bags from cereal boxes, use them to replace wax paper. You can use them to cover food in the fridge or when you’re reheating something in the microwave. They can be used in the place of wax paper because they're very similar in material. They're both paper based with a wax coating. You can also use the cereal bags to do shake & bake cooking, as well as a bag for crushing nuts, crackers, and other snack foods. Unfortunately cereal bags, like wax paper, cannot be washed and reused after coming into contact with food. But you'll be saving on wax paper and doubling the use you get out of your cereal bags.
