Why You Should Keep Cookie Bags

After you've finished munching away at a bag of cookies, and you're getting ready to throw out the whole bag, think twice! You can remove the long twist tie that is glued to the bag and that keeps it shut. Not all cookie bags have this, but for those that do this is a great idea. These ties can be reused as twist ties around the house such as to hold bags shut, tie plants to garden poles and to organize computer cords. This is a great waste reducing tip because twist ties can be used over and over again, and they never have to be thrown out.
